Best known as the tallest third of the pop rock band, BETTY, singer/bassist/songwriter Alyson has been performing professionally since her first solo gig at fourteen years old, a featured singer/songwriter set on the wildly popular Aldeguer Sisters Variety Show on TV in Manila, Philippines. BETTY has performed in venues all over the world since 1986 and is known to television audiences through their recognizable theme songs for "The L Word" on Showtime, HBO's "Real Sex", HBO Family's "Encyclopedia", "Cover Shot" on TLC, Comedy Central's "Out On The Edge" and Discovery TV's "Ms. Adventure", and music for MTV, VH-1, USA Network, Cinemax, The Food Network and Pringles, among others. Alyson has appeared on "The L Word", "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" and pops up in many films, including "Puccini For Beginners", "Life With Mikey", "The Out-of-Towners", and "It's Pat". She writes and performs original songs with guitar star & long-time-love Tony Salvatore in the party band Pleasuredog, the Laidback Lounge act Tony&Alyson and Tot Rock in the raucous Tone Alley.

In addition to winning a recent BMI Excellence Award for her work with BETTY, the 2009 BMI Theme Song award for "The L Word" and the 2008 Gilbert Baker Award for Activism and humanitarian service, Alyson won the Outstanding Alumna Award from her alma mater, Montgomery College (although still no degree, honorary or otherwise, dang it. How's she ever going to get a real job?)
