Alvin Lee & Ten Years After - Live on German TV 1969! - Video
PUBLISHED:  Aug 14, 2013
DESCRIPTION:
This clip features a young Alvin Lee & TYA in what looks to be a German TV studio with no audience. It has credits at the beginning and end but it doesn't look like it ever had a final mastering done for broadcast. The band just kind of sits around in between songs, and they do two takes of the Blues number which leads me to think it was never mastered for broadcast. The high point of the show is the 23 min.+ version of I Can't Keep From Crying Sometimes. It's worth watching just for that alone. The songs performed are I Can't Keep From Crying Sometimes and two takes of an Untitled Blues number. The only info I have on this is German TV 1969. This clip is posted for your educational and entertainment purposes by The Rev. Bob Archives. Go out and buy some Ten Years After CD's today and remind yourself what a great band these guys were!

Long live the memory of Alvin Lee (Dec. 19, 1944 - March 6, 2013 R.I.P.) and Ten Years After! You are deeply missed!
