Emerging from the streets of New Orleans. coming from the same area where Lil Wayne mastered his skills, Al The Kid comes from the 17th Ward. Allen Robertson aka Al The Kid attended Rabouin High School where he played on the team Varsity Basketball Team. 2005 tragedy struck the city of Hope: New Orleans. Al The Kid was forced to evacuate to nearby Lafayette, La where he received his diploma at Northside High School. After receiving his Diploma, Allen moved back to the city he loved where he pursued his love for music. Al The Kid started to gain respect once he dropped his first single "Rookie of the Year" which received a minor buzz in his city of New Orleans. He then went on to drop his Down South Anthem better known as "Stacks On Deck" which received nice feedback. With the buzz behind "Stacks On Deck" Al The Kid started to become very popular in his city which lead to plenty of shows. Birthday Parties, Music Conferences, and Stop The Violence Concerts are just some of the type of Events that Allen was booked to appear. In 2007, Allen started to hear the "You got what it takes" rumors so all he needed was a National Spotlight. That same year Al The Kid hooked up with his Former High School Basketball Teammate (Chucky) whose the CEO of X-OUT Media Group to start Marketing and Branding him for Worldwide exposure. Since, the hookup lots of success has come. January 15th Al The Kid single "Stacks On Deck" was featured as Heater of The Day on the hottest Hip-Hop site on the net Allhiphop.com. Allen is also now in many different areas on the world Thanks to many of DJs around the world showing him Love. With the past behind him, Allen is looking forward to a very bright future.
