A Long Awaited Tragedy was a five piece band from Trexlertown, Pennsylvania. We started out in September 2005 and played our first show on April 15th, 2006 at King Koffee in Emmaus, PA with our friends in Set These Wings Ablaze and Idle Harlot. Over the years, we have recorded two studio recorded EPs, "Work Out Your Own Salvation Through Fear and Trembling", which was recorded in January 2007, and "Prelude", which was recorded in the summer of 2008. This band had given us four years of meeting new and amazing people, the chance to play with our favorite bands, and over 50 shows worth of amazing memories that we will never forget. Needless to say, we couldn't have done any of this without the support of everyone who ever came out to our shows, checked us out on myspace, bought a cd, etc. We thank you all from the bottom of our hearts and we hope you enjoyed this band as much as we did. Maybe one day there can be a reunion show for one last crazy time. But until then, you can check the former members of ALAT out in other local bands such as Entrails, Sandlot Heroes, and Sleepwalker. Keep the scene alive!
