Described as a “talented and meaningful almost self produced artist”, ALONESTAR launched his career as a model travelling the globe and booking campaigns for the likes of Calvin Klein, Lacoste, Diesel, and G-Star.
His work took him to Milan, New York and Paris where he hit the catwalks for Gian Franco Frère, D Squared and Prada. Added to this he featured in worldwide commercials for Coca Cola, Ford ka, Taj hotels and Original Source.
Building a solid reputation he landed parts in numerous music videos including Jamiroquai, Blue, Sugababes and Kathy Dennis, and also featured in Sylvester Stallone’s Judge Dread, popular medical drama Casualty, The Bill, Eastenders and Law & Order uk
In 2002 ALONESTAR launched his musical career with “Lockdown” and has since matured into the star he is today, gaining notoriety as a highly acclaimed lyricist and live performer.
Born and raised in Bristol, Jethro Sheeran [ALONESTAR] spends a lot of time in Trinidad and lives in London.
His inspirations come from the early Bristol scene and his childhood where he grew up with friends and acquaintances that include Smith & Mighty, Tricky, Massive Attack, Kosheen and Portishead.
Touring the UK in 2002 and again in 2003 with Busted and Blazing Squad (Under the management of Simon Webbe - Blue) he built his reputation as a great all round talent.Mixing a unique set of hip-hop with hard drums, catchy hooks, and meaningful words, he formed the sound that represents the backdrop of his life today.
In 2005, ALONESTAR completed his first and somewhat experimental EP entitled “Clipped Wings”.
Since then he has become an even darker, hard hitting artist.His new album “DARK DAYZ” reflects his unique mind set, his views on religion, social issues and the environment.
ALONESTAR said: My music and writing was and still is my therapy. Words from Skyla Rain are raw and honest they reflect the frustration and sorrow I felt at the time.

My music also echo’s my passions and concerns faced in our world.

The album has been heavily influenced by the pulse and vibe of the island of Trinidad and uses an innovative fusion of hard hip hop beats, with live strings and bass, Native American flutes, piano, a brass section and a children’s choir.
He has also collaborated with many established artists, including international star Ashley Walters (so solid), Trinidad’s most respected Rapso artist Ataklan, Coree Richards (Damage) Spotrushaz, Rosie Ribbons (telstar) Roy Merchant (Red Devil) who engineered number 1 charting artists Lemar, So Solid, Big Brovas and M.I.A), as well as world class musicians and engineers from all over the world.
International club and festival performances have earned him a reputation as a consummate showman, drawing enthusiastic crowd responses from London, Morocco, Spain and Denmark (free-styling with The Game and Black Wall Streets Clyde Carson) to Port of Spain in Trinidad, as well as radio and TV coverage.
