All Hail The Ruin

All Hail The Ruin first formed in August 2007 with an ambition to write creative and heavy music using everything that the metal/hardcore genre has to offer. After just under a year writing music that we loved we hit the Birmingham gig scene & shared the stage with bands such as See You Next Tuesday, Despiced Icon, The Warriors, Eternal Lord, Your Demise, Kingdom, For The Fallen Dreams, The Red Shore, Sylosis, Viatrophy e.t.c. and getting great response & feedback from people where ever we play.

Eventually in late 2008 after gaining a steady fan base we ventured out of Birmingham and managed to complete a succession of 4 tours before June 2009, one of them even being in Belgium! Soon after these successful tours, line-up troubles ensued and we lost our bassist and vocalist in the process! So while the three core members of AHTR attempted to build the band back up from scratch we got focussing on new material as well. In late November after a long time away and a near split AHTR are always getting themselves back in the game and are now stronger and more vibrant than ever before!

With new demo's on the way soon and our EP 'Above Us, The Waves' still to be released, 2010 will be the time that AHTR shine in a different light!
