Sinnliche Soulklänge verschmelzen mit smoothem Hip-Hop, rhythmischen Reggae-Grooves und einer Prise Jazz. Das Resultat kann man mit „Neo Soul“ umschreiben. Vielleicht zitiert man aber besser Songtitel von Alina Amuri wie „Be One With Me“ und „Modified Vibration“.



Musik ist der unbestrittene Mittelpunkt im Leben der aufstrebenden Künstlerin. Alina Amuri über ihre Leidenschaft:
„Ich glaube, Musik ist eine der wenigen universellen Sprachen. Sie verbindet Menschen aus aller Welt und bildet somit wichtige Brücken zwischen den Kulturen. Ich will Teil dieses wichtigen Austauschs sein: mit meinen Worten, meiner Stimme, meiner Energie – mit meiner Musik.“



Mit ihrer Musik begeistert Alina Amuri an Konzerten wie etwa am Blue-Balls-Festival 2010 in Luzern. Aber auch im Radio: Die erste Version ihres Songs "Be One With Me" – zu finden auf dem Sampler „The Best of Demotape Clinic 2007“ – schaffte es auf anhieb und ohne Rückendeckung eines Labels in die Playlist des Westschweizer Radios RSR – La 1ère.



Alina Amuri wurde in Kinshasa (Republik Kongo) geboren und lebt in Zürich. Die Veröffentlichung ihres Debütalbums ist für Herbst 2011 geplant. Unterstützt wird sie dabei vom Verlag POT - Publishing One Ton, der auch mit dem Reggaesänger Phenomden zusammenarbeitet.

She says about her passion:
“Music is one of the few universal languages. It connects people from all over the world and thus forms an important bridge between cultures.
I want to be a part of this important exchange: with my words, my voice, my energy and my music.”
Alina Amuri made an impact with her music at concerts such as the Blue Balls Festival 2010 in Lucerne and she is also played on the radio: The first version of her song ”Be One With Me“, found on the sampler “The Best of Demotape Clinic 2007“, at once made it to the library of the Swiss Radio RSR – Le 1ère without any backing of a label.
Alina Amuri was born in Kinshasa (Republic Kongo) and lives in Zürich.
The release of her debut album is expected for autumn 2011. She is supported by the publisher POT – Publishing One Ton, who has collaborated with reggae singer Phenomden.
