Alias Grace

Alias Grace recently finished the self-produced full length album "When I Close My Eyes", which they recorded at Ante Up Audio. Multi-platinum award-winning engineer and producer Michael Seifert, who has worked with artists such as Bone Thugs n Harmony, Tori Amos, Fountains of Wayne, and Colbie Caillat, recorded the final three tracks on the album and was enthusiastic about the band's radio potential, particularly with the song "Slide". Another track on the album, "Warm and Naked", won the Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting Award from the 9th Annual Great American Song Contest.
"Cleveland quintet [Alias Grace] has crossover appeal written all over it, rocking just hard enough for active rock radio and sounding nonthreatening enough for adult-contemporary formats. It often sounds like a band hellbent on melding Coldplay with A Perfect Circle. The demo's three tracks feature basic rock structures topped with grand atmospherics in the form of piano and soaring vocals from singer Mike Callahan."
