A. Levy is a multi-talented rap artist from New Orleans,La. He first discovered his talents in the late 90's while in highs chool.One of his neighborhood friends introduced him to nas' socially conscious, (yet street) lyrical style. From there A. Levy learned how to properly format songs into verses and bars. The rest as they say is "history"! He started "THE HUT STUDIOS" in his mothers garage, late nights after working as a security guard in the neworleans louis armstrong airport. At that time his studio comprised of a dell computer a shure microphone and a bunch young, hungry, but talented, rappers. Months after the opening of the studio A. levy released the mixtape "straight from da hut" hosted by d.j. coldcut.The mixtape was met with great reviews but it was only a stepping stone to A.Levy's second critically acclaimed mixtape entitled "his-story" which was a solo effort that reached further then he could have ever imagined due to hurricane katrina. He found his self in atlanta,ga where he recieved great appreciation and met like minded lifetime friends the beatgods. In june of 2006 he moved back to neworleans,la to claim the crown in his struggling city of neworleans after saying farewell to atlanta,ga.While back in neworleans he enrolled in audio engineering classes at delgado community college and unintentionally met his new business parter "turner" of the BlackTroops and CEO of BlackTroopsMusic. A.Levy and and Turner are working on a colaborative effort yet untitled. This partnership allowed DaHUt Studios to blossom into a professional 48 track protools studio. He is currently promoting the smash single "ride wit a star" which is availbale for download at myspace.com/alevy. A.LEVY's influences are nas,lupe fiasco, mac, andre 3000, eminem, common, kanye west, jada kiss, ludacris, jay-z,lil wayne and any other artists that are making great music and changing hip-hop positively.
