Alazzan Biography



In 1995 Armando (Main Vocals, Bajo, and Director), Junior (Drums), and Carlos (Congas and Mc) along with their Dad (Juvenal Gracia) got together and formed Grupo Gracia. In 1996 Grupo Gracia participated in an event in Houston Tx. ( Battle of the bands) along with approx. 45 local bands Grupo Gracia with talent and dedication came out victorious receiving a chance to record a demo . After performing and meeting a lot of people Grupo Gracia decide to make a change in 1998 and adapt the name ALAZZAN. Looking forward ALAZZAN records first album in 1999 entitled “CON ELLA” under the label Joey Records. That’s where ALAZZAN starts molding its own style in the music industry. Always thinking of the future ALAZZAN opens a new chapter and signs a recording deal with Corpus based Freddie Records. 2000 ALAZZAN records album “TE AMO” were they are able to hit numerous parts of US and Mexico cities. In 2001 after carefully choosing



material for album 3 ALAZZAN goes into the studio and records “ PARA SIEMPRE CONTIGO” which because of work album doesn’t hit market til mid 2002. The first single on album entitled “CONTIGO O SIN TI” climbed the charts in many radio stations making it all the way up to 1. ALAZZAN is able to release “Ella Es” and “ Como Olvidarte” and “Un Corazon” on the same album to have success. Moving forward to 2005 ALAZZAN records “Gritandole Al Viento” where they do a Duet with Ben Deleon from (Solido) entitled “Porque”. “Gritandole Al Viento” “Nada De Ti” “Loco Por Ti” and “Ladrona” were songs that successfully hit the radio stations. 2007 ALAZZAN records CD 5 “DUELE”.



The cd is able to produce “Si Puderia Olvidarte” “No Se Te Olvide” “Mi Decision”



And a very important duet with Armando”Tito” Gracia II. (“Duele”). ALAZZAN



Is currently working on new material and also staying very busy. ALAZZAN Members are Armando Gracia(bajo and lead vocals) Junior Gracia(drums) Carlos Gracia (congas and Mc) Marcos Cervantes(accordion and vocals) and Ruben Cruz (bass and vocals).
