Singer, songwriter, and performer AIJA, is one of todays emerging new artists, possessing a sultry voice, originality and enticing image that compliments her craft. Aija Thomas was born in Boston and moved to Orlando, Florida as a child. She is inspired by Toni Braxton, Nora Jones, Alicia Keys, and Christina Aguilera to name a few, as well as inspirations from a diverse group of musical genres. Aija was first introduced to music by her grandfather who was a professional musician, songwriter and performer, as well as her musically inclined and influential uncle who booked her first recording session. The remnants of undeniably talented musicians in her family is carried on by Aija today. Ever since, Aija has been driven and has honed her skills by working with some of the best producers and songwriters in the industry. Vada Nobles( Rhianna,Lauryn Hill, Faith Evans, Natasha Bedingfield, Warren G) DNA Productions(Songs; Part Time Lover, Young Girl, In a Row) Gerry Williams (Mandy Moore, Francesca Battistelli, Jordan Knight, N’Sync, Staciy Orrico, Aaron Carter) and Jay Stanley (Matchbox 20). During these times she learned the fundamentals of song writing ( co-writing “Love Letters”) and studio etiquette from many hours of studio work.

Working alongside such talented professionals has only expanded her vision to work on her own projects. She has caught the attention of many industry pros and fellow artists alike. Understanding that nothing comes easy, Aija is always ready for new challenges. Her hard working attributes come from the incredible support of her family and her determination to succeed in today’s music industry.

Aija's ultimate dream is to become a young artist who utilizes her skills by delivering more than the ordinary. One of her hopes is to bring awareness to the epidemic of Autism through her musical career. Aija is actively involved with family organizations supporting Autism such as ASGO (Autism Society of Greater Orlando), CAN and NAA. In her senior year of high school, Aija was the chapter president of "Best Buddies", a nation wide organization for people with intellectual disabilities and has also volunteered her time with the Special Olympics of Central Florida. For Aija, Autism is not just a charity of choice. It's a personal agenda she holds true to her heart. Aija's brother Shane has Autism and she vows to do all she can to bring awareness to the cause.

Aija won't settle for just joining the pack of beautiful people in the music business, her purpose is to infuse, to lead and inspire. She is an exceptionally gifted, dignified and talented young lady who is ready to embark into a promising career.
