AGNES PIHLAVA - UUSI SINGLE JA ALBUMI



Agnes – suomalaisen rockin Nemesis [oikeuden jumalatar] - sinkoaa säälimättömät säkeensä Suomen radioaalloille 24.08.2009 ja kuulija saa ansionsa mukaan. Agnesin uusi pitkäsoitto ”Redemption” ilmestyy 21.10.2009 ja nostaa samalla Agnesin ansaitusti rockin kuningatarkaartiin. Agnesin edellistä levyä ”When the night falls” myytiin Suomessa lähes kultalevyyn oikeuttava määrä. uuden levyn kypsempi ote sekä räjähtävä tulkinta tuo Agnesin kiistattoman lahjakkuuden esille. Levyn tuottaa Mikko.P.Mustonen ja biisivelhoina ovat toimineet Gary Keskinen, Timo Kotipelto, Tuomas Heikkinen, Janne Storm, J.Ahola ja Jani Hölli. Nimikkobiisiin ja singlelohkaisuun ”For your redemption” on saatavilla video syyskuun jälkeen. Levyn odotetuinta antia on “Tears with a smile”-duetto Ancaran kanssa. Biisi julkaistaan myös heidän uudella levyllä. Agnes keikkailee uuden bändinsä kanssa ahkerasti ympäri Suomea ja toukokuussa 2010 on luvassa parin viikon mittainen Keski-Euroopan kiertue, joka alkaa Tsekeistä ja päättyy Slovakiaan.



AGNES RELEASES NEW SINGLE "THIS MOMENT"



Agnes became a well known artist after being 4th in Finnish Idols. First album "When The Night Falls" was released in September 2006 in Finland and in July 2007 in Japan. It ranked 8th in official Finnish charts sold almost it's worth as a gold disc. After a while, Agnes has been carefully preparing new material for the upcoming album. The first single from this album is "This Moment" and it represents the forthcoming material well. The song was written by Tuomas "Gary" Keskinen and Timo Kotipelto who is probably best known as the lead singer of Stratovarius. The single was produced by Gary and Mikko P. Mustonen.



Recording of the rest of the album is currently taking place and the new album is going to be released in autumn 2009.



"My contract with Sony BMG expired in 2007 and we decided to take a little break. Now I'm with wonderful musicians and song writers like Gary, Timo Kotipelto and Tuomas Heikkinen, so the spirit of the 80's will be there. However, we're also going to offer some surprises for the fans! Now the people I'm working with are my close friends, so the whole album making process will be awesome."



"This Moment" was released as a radio promo in April 6th.
