Aeguana Way

Gli AEGUANA WAY nascono a Brienza nel 2005. Sin dagli esordi iniziano a cimentarsi con la produzione di brani inediti. Nello stesso anno inizia la loro esperienza “live” e studio, viene così alla luce il loro primo cd demo “FASE CRIMINALE ” totalmente autoprodotto (registrato in agosto al Reptilia studio). Nei 13 brani del disco convergono numerose idee e si delinea un sound efficace ma ancora in costruzione, in esso infatti emergono gli accenti grunge ed alternative rock che contribuiscono a caratterizzare e personalizzare meglio il loro stile. Un anno dopo nasce un secondo demo “VUOTO & NIENTE”, in cui cofluiscono 6 nuovi brani. La rabbia e la passione sono sempre le stesse ma vengono affiancate da una maggiore consapevolezza dei propri mezzi espressivi e da una nuova maturità compositiva. Il percorso continua arrichendosi di numerose esperienze tra le più significative l’apertura dei concerti di: Piero Pelù, Subsonica, Planet funk, Marlene Kuntz e Sud sound system. Nel 2008 inizia la loro collaborazione con il produttore GIAMPIERO FERRANTE della REAL TONE MUSIC LAB di Napoli con il quale lavorano per la realizzazione del disco ufficiale d’esordio “CAMBIO PELLE” (uscito in Italia ad Aprile 2009), successivamente firmano per ALKEMIST FANATIX EUROPE & Quickflow, promotori dello stesso disco.

“Cambio pelle” vende un numero di copie soddisfacente per la band, ma la cosa che conta è che riesce ad arrivare ad un discreto numero di addetti ai lavori raccogliendo decine di recensioni che nel 90% dei casi sono positive. Le 8 tracce del disco sembrano coinvolgere a pieno l’ascoltatore e i testi di Antonio Salviulo incuriosiscono ed emozionano,nel bene e nel male.

Al momento la band è impegnata nella composizione del nuovo disco,

il percorso prosegue e si prevedono numerose novità, alcune addirittura radicali… da scoprire seguendo la via del rettile.

AEGUANA WAY met in Brienza (PZ) on February 2005. Since the beginning they measure themselves in producing unpublished songs, gaining the first significant results in composition. Their live experience starts on summer 2005, when the first totally auto-produced demo record “FASE CRIMINALE” came to light (recorded in august at Reptilia Studios). Many ideas meet among the record’s13 songs. They sketch out an incisive sound, but still under construction, in which the grunge and alternative rock tones work together to better personalize the band’s style. Tuneful sensitivity and rhythmic accents change from song to song up to come to today’s new, wide and diverse music repertory. A year later they give birth to a second demo record, “VUOTO & NIENTE” with 6 brand-new tunes. Anger and passion are still the same but supported by a new composition maturity and a deeper awareness about their own expression skills. 2007 is the crucial year for Aeguana Way’s growing and musical research. A year rich in live performances that lead the band to share the stage with Piero Pelù (Meeting del Mare in Marina di Camerota –SA) and Nidi d’arac (“Voci dal sud” in Sant’Arsenio –SA). In the same year the band starts its collaboration with REAL TONE MUSIC LAB from Naples and the producer GIAMPIERO FERRANTE, who is actually involved in the realization of the debut official album which is going to be released on the beginning of 2009. In 2008, among other live performances, they share the stage with Subsonica, Sud Sound System, Marlene kuntz and Planet funk and sign with ALKEMIST FANATIX EUROPE (current management agency).
