My first real glimpse into live performance was through my participation in the broadway production of “Joseph and The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat” at the Chicago Theater starring Donny Ozmond. I was one among the chosen choir members from Eisenhower Junior High asked to participate in the theater production of Joseph for a three month contract. It was during this time that I was also involved in the Junior High Band as a flautist. (Insert cool points here.) During my high school years, I studied voice under Ingrid Mueller. I majored in Music Business at Western Illinois University where I took up piano, guitar, and percussion classes. During this time I also continued my voice lessons this time studying under Mr. Terry Chasteen.

For the past two years I've played at many of the local venues here in Illinois Including some in Indiana. These venues include Hidden Shamrock, Vaughn’s Pub, Quencher’s, Subterranean, Elbo Room, The Museum of Science and Industry, Jerry’s Sandwich Shop, Underground Lounge, Lilly’s, U.S. Beer Company, Bally Doyle, Pontiac Café, Strawdog, Lucky Lady, Silvie’s, Gallery Cabaret, Mahoney’s Pub & Grille, Flat Rock Tap, Bar Louie, and Griffith Town Tap. This past June 13th 2009 I participated in Chicago’s largest independent music fest at Congress Theater, I AM Fest through the Chicago Noise Machine local arts music organization. I sing in both English and Spanish and wish to continue performing on a more professional level while adding indie, r&b, and world music flavors to my repertoire.
