Mix talent, soul, spirituality and sexy…you get AARON DEVON. Born and raised in the Capital City of Sacramento, CA, this R&B sensation started singing at the age of 6 in his local church. Always surrounding himself with talented live musicians and singers gave him a solid foundation of what “Good” music should sound like. Also, growing up and listening to the eclectic sounds of his mother’s record collection, ranging from Earth Wind & Fire to The Beatles to Vanessa Bell Armstrong, heavily influenced AARON DEVON’s appreciation for timeless music. His vocal talent was cultivated throughout his formative years with his participation in countless musical productions, talent shows, vocal competitions, and Sunday morning services. AARON DEVON studied music formally at the University of California, Berkeley and continues to pursue his formal degree in vocal performance.
In 2002 AARON DEVON made a venturous move to Atlanta, GA, dubbed the Motown of the South, and soon after recorded his first two singles “Who’s To Blame?” and “Goodtime”. These two songs, produced by super-producers Tha Corna Boyz, set a standard of quality production with a positive message which remains the core focus of all AARON DEVON music. Artist development continued while in Atlanta as AARON DEVON trained with famed vocal coach, Jan Smith (Usher, Ciara, & Rob Thomas) at the Jan Smith studios. Returning to his roots with a wealth of experience from his time spent in Atlanta, he moved back to Sacramento, CA and produced and promoted his sold-out debut concert, AARON DEVON Live!
Not only is he a singer, songwriter, and an entertainer but also an entrepreneur. In 2007 AARON DEVON established A.Devon Entertainment and MADHouSe Management, both companies intent on providing first class entertainment to the Sacramento live music scene and the nation at large. In addition to being CEO of two business ventures, songwriting, recording and performing, AARON DEVON makes it a priority to honor his commitment to God for whom he credits all of his gifts, talents and abilities. You will find him on any given Sunday morning combining his passion for God, music and teaching, by leading Praise and Worship and various choirs at the Antioch Progressive Church. His spiritual foundation has proven to be a source of inspiration while penning his untitled debut album due out spring 2008, sure to be filled with R&B hits that explore the realistic side of love.
