Hello hola a todos it has been a while and how things have changed! Its been often the case for Adiosmercedez, when initially things and thoughts had some solid plan and a a compass, it became yesterday's news. There were lots of discussion while taking this long break. The plan has very much been tweaked, like small gathered trees letting the winds of life make them stronger we retrieve to a safe place.
These winds change our landscape and indeed happen all the time in life. Its the exciting part of being in a band, always new things to discover. With occasional changes but good changes we have said good bye to good friends and hello to new ones. Our buddy Diego is no longer with us and Rog is for now playing with Jesse & Joy all over Mexico. The quartet continues with our good long time friend Stanley on bass, and long time friend Josh on drums. You'll be hearing from them and meeting them in our AMTV video blogs.
With a new plan in place, we have wide open possibilities happening now. After coming back from Mexico, a steady work was begun represented by writing many many songs and re writing old ones. Non stop writing non stop modifications. Now we're back in the studio doing simply pre production and walking steady behind a ray of light. We have a fifth member in the band, partner,friend and Grammy winning producer Brian Garcia leading the way. Once again we try to clarify all of our possibilities with these new songs. The band and Brian have had long hour discussions with some awesome new songs that we can't wait for you guys to hear. But all these songs produce a problem, we have too many. We have discussed the possibility to release a B list of songs that we recorded a few years ago. Nevertheless we continue in the studio pre producing some really great songs. We have a stash of over 45 songs and counting but have narrowed them down. All these talks with pieces from the past and demo songs lead us to work with Brian who has lead us in the making of the new phase of Adiosmercedez. Brian producer and engineering for great artist such as Kelly Clarkson and Avril Lavigne to name a few, at hand has narrowed our songs and he has ensured and squeezed every drop of magic that we can put together this time around.
Well you'll be hearing more from us in the new future, we just left the pre production stage at our friends Until Junes studio and working along with vocal coach Susan Rumor along the way. We are take Adiosmercedez to the next level of excellence and we are glad to be back and glad that you will continue to support us as we connect once again with everyone out there.
