A gifted artist in every sense of the word - Singer, Songwriter, Guitarist and Performer - ADAM JASON skillfully blends unfailing melodic and organic Pop sensibilities with a unique understanding of Rock and Roll in its rawest form. His upcoming album "Fighting Gravity", is an inspired collection of songs that muse on life, love, and the pursuit of dreams.

A native of the South Florida area, Adam grew up obsessed with music. "When I was 11, I heard Bon Jovi's "You Give Love A Bad Name" on the radio, and from that moment on I've embraced Rock and Roll like some sort of Religion." Adam spent years as a teen Singing/Playing Guitar and developing as a musician. "The most important thing I've learned over the years is to keep an open-mind, and embrace all types of music."

Shortly after graduating from High School, Adam transplanted himself from the Sunshine State, and enrolled at the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. While in Alabama he performed in several bands, which extensively toured the Southeastern Region. "I played everywhere! Little hole-in-the-wall dives to Fraternity/Sorority Parties to Radio Festivals with the attendance of thousands. I've played gigs where the stages were fenced in with chicken wire to prevent the bands being pelted with bottles, etc. It was just part of paying my dues."

After completing 2 years at Alabama, the juggle of academic life and constant gigging started to take its toll. Something had to give. "I had a decision to make, finish college, or pursue my rock and roll dreams. Needless to say, I traded classrooms for bar-rooms, and book bags for guitar cases." Adam remained in Alabama for several years performing, writing, and recording. He released his debut EP "Anywhere But Here" in late 1999. In the subsequent tour, he performed with several great acts such as: Edwin McCain, Drivin' N Cryin', Angie Aparo, Beth Hart, Mars Electric, and Sammy Kershaw.

In 2001, Adam moved back to South Florida to continue his musical journey. He played in a few bands, (Superbone, Everyday Monday), before striking out on his own. In the past few years he's had the extreme honor of being named the winner of "94.9 Zeta's: Search For An American Rock Idol" and has shared the stage with such musical heavyweights as: Edwin McCain, Lynyrd Skynyrd (twice), Train, Skid Row, Molly Hatchet, Blackfoot, Pat Travers, Brooks and Dunn, Sugarland, Flickerstick, Dave Ellefson (Megadeth), Stet Howland (WASP), Confederate Railroad, and just this past year he became a 2 time winner of Bon Jovi's "Have A Nice Gig" competition, once with the Adam Jason Band, and the second time with the group Ashley Red. "That was ultimate! We (the Adam Jason Band) beat out over 100 bands to win the gig of a lifetime: opening for the legendary BON JOVI, at our sold-out hometown arena (Bank Atlantic Center), in front of 20,000 people! It was the most amazing night of my life! There I was playing with my favorite band, who inspired me to persue music in the first place, talk about a wonderful coincidence." But it wouldn't end there, just 5 months later Adam would again be the opening act for New Jerseys favorite sons. This time as a member of Ashley Red. "I'd been friends with the Ashley Red guys for years. Since the AJB (Adam Jason Band) had already opened for them, we weren't eligible to compete again. So I helped the boys enter the competition and when they won, they asked me to play the show with them! We played to a sold-out Hard Rock live (5,500), and once again I'd lived the dream!"

Adam is now gearing up for the release of his new solo album, "Fighting Gravity", while being a full-time member of the Southern Rock band Rambler (myspace.com/rambler). He looks forward to the upcoming months, which will find him in the midst of many prosperous opportunities such as temporarily moving back to the Alabama area for a stint of Fall performances, a possible European tour, and relocating to Los Angeles.

What will the future hold? Only God knows, but if his past is any indication, Adam Jason will achieve the success many dream of, but only few attain.
