-A- was born on the North Side of Milwaukee, an area not exactly noted for its fertile hip-hop scene. Nonetheless, he honed his skills to the point where he was performing with high school at local club scenes making a name for himself as a thug with a conscious. He was able to catch his first break, when he joined Top Floor Entertainment, where he gained further concert experience by opening shows for local artist, like Mind Pimp and Growing Nation; which led to opportunities to work in such venues as Chicago’s House of Blues, Milwaukee’s Amphitheater and the Paramount Theater in Madison, Wisconsin. He soon began opening shows for major artists such as Bone Thugs and Harmony, Dead Prez, Mobb Deep and Scarface to name a few. Currently recording with Raw Dawg Records, a new studio album Milwukeetalky Wisconsequences. -A- released his first single on the compilation album called “The Birth” on Top Floor Records. He was invited to Las Vegas to put his unique sound on the compilation album “The Gambling State”, which led to the production of the much anticipated God Body Thug Music Album. -A- continues to do venues with his groups Quite Blunt and The specialist Outfit, along with writing and producing tracks for their forthcoming album. When asked what his philosophy was regarding his music in a local paper, -A- responded, “I want my music to help you research and organize your thoughts, to encourage you to listen and seek alternatives to old problems with new solutions, to argue logically. Above all, to not believe anything blindly, to doubt and to question even what seems irrefutably true, such as ones social class over another.”
