Absynthesis

Absynthesis is the moniker of international producer-DJ and sound shaper Levon Louis.
The Houston-born, Hollywood-trained sound effects creator and multi-instrumentalist was up for "Best DJ", "Best Electronica", and "Keyboardist of the Year" in his hometown, Houston, before moving to Los Angeles and later Montreal to head up the sound and music for video games by day; while producing and performing as a digital one-man-band.
With a sound that has been described as, "a blend of nostalgia and cutting edge…" Absynthesis creates music in forward modes from indie-leaning electronica to Dubstep, DnB, and beyond ambient.
On stage Absynthesis serves up an evolution of DJ performance by delivering 100% original beats with live synth and vocal performance in the mix.
Levon has spun sets with DJ royalty from Juan Atkins to Jam Master Jay, Paul Oakenfold, Keoki, Dieselboy, Aquasky, N-Type, Mistress Barbara, and dozens more.
Absynthesis releases music independently and also appears on soundtracks next to Marilyn Manson, Aphex Twin, William Orbit, Robert Miles, Nine Inch Nails The Cure and Chemical Brothers.
