"Containing a bit of thrash, grind, speed, etc., all in one. Some times having a punk rhythm, others that of a southern sludge groove, but mostly carrying the grinding speed freak, blast beat, death grind, chaotic clusterfuck. whatever you want to call it." - Bogus Rendition Zine

"Oh, SHIT. Fans of old school thrash and black metal need look no further than Wallowing In Utter Chaos for a welcome 40 minute respite from the glossy, overproduced sounds that so dominate the media’s mainstream representation of the genre. Given their hometown locale, it’s no wonder their sound is so intentionally raw; the Abhorred hail from just outside of Boston, a city infamous for such high-profile new metal bands as Shadows Fall and Unearth. In contrast to the increasingly polished sound of their neighboring bands, the Abhorred hearken the blistering quality of the glory days of metal. Breakneck thrash riffs rage over pummeling percussion, then double their pace, and just as the thrash is so heavy that you feel like your ears might explode, the music switches into dirty, semi-sludgy mid-tempo riffs with gratuitous wailing solos. Yet even the most stoner-jam-sounding riffs are pushed over into black metal by the searing grittiness of the vocals and the punctuating wail of pinch-harmonics. For head smashing, fist pumping action, check out Forever War; for the sweet jams, check out Bearer of Guilt. And if you go see them live, expect your neck to be sore for a couple of days afterwards." - Binge and Purge Zine

NONE SHALL BE SPARED will be available sometime in early 2007.

Cheers.
