It’s not where you’re from; it’s where you’re at. On Birch Street in Oakland, California, Birch Boy Barie reigns supreme. Born and raised in East Oakland, Birch is creating a buzz in the rap game with his individual sound and rare perspective.



Birch got his start rapping at the age of 15 and in less than five years, he perfected his craft and stepped up his hustle. Inspired by Too Short, Webbie, BG, and E 40, Birch formulated his own style while forming the crew, Young Bandit Gorillas.



Hip-Hop artist such as The Ghost, Tauheed Tha Fearless, and Mac Feez accompany Birch Boy Barie on the soon to be released mix tape “Birch Street Don.”



Marching to the beat of his own drummer, Birch prides himself on not following the trends laid out by other local and mainstream artist. “It doesn’t matter what everyone else is doing,” says Birch. “I just do me.”
