Many in the music industry today are hung up on genre. Only in abstract are not. They are a young band who are not restrained by genre yet influenced by the varied music and bands they have grown up listening to. When they play live, they aim to impress and consistently hit the target, constantly leaving fans wanting more. They are energetic, hard working and committed.
The music they create blends passionate aggression with the dynamic subtlety of beautiful melodic riffing.
Vocally they are hard hitting yet emotive. Quite simply, the music will move you and cause you to move.
In a world where style sometimes triumphs over substance and where substance can smother style, OIA manage to marry the two.
2009 was a year when they consolidated their lineup, made several recordings and gigged. 2010 will be a year when OIA will gig, record, gig and record. They have big plans and hope you will become part of their ever expanding fanbase.
