Born and raised in a small community (Macedonia) in Mt.Olive/Prentiss Mississippi, Contessa has had her share of hard times yet shes very successful in achieving her goals (all those who know her can definitely vouch for that). Contessa left home after graduating high school, moved to Jackson Mississippi and on to Killeen Texas. Her singing,rapping/modeling career started in Houston Texas. Modeling at age fifteen she always knew she would become a star. It wasnt until she moved to Houston when she realized that singing/rapping was what she was destined to do. Inspired by various H-town artist, she began her journey to a successful music career. Contessa has ripped the stage at several performances in H-Town with her former group Qupid's Crush and some solo acts. She has also ripped the stage in Mississippi as well as recent shows in Atlanta,Ga. Since then Contessa has linked up with her Bloodsister Keta B and formed a Female Hip Hop Group called Bloodsistaz!
In August 2007 the 2 moved to Atlanta Georgia to follow their dream of a successful music career as the best Female Hip Hop Group in the World. "Yeah we are going to make History with this group", says Tessa C as she smurks with confidence shortly after Keta B came up with the name Bloodsistaz! Growing up in a small town in Mississippi their access to music was limited, recording studios were limited, so they only dreamed of one day being able to watch themselves on the Big Screen. Here are a few accomplishments they've achieved within the first 7months of their arrival to Atlanta: 1.1st Place in over 12 Open Mic Competitions in Georgia(including Club Seduction, the Blue Moose, Club Orileys, etc. 2.
