713 Click originate in Houston Texas. Under the watchful eye of Hip Hop Legend Big H.A.W.K (RIP) a strong group of young talented artist came together in 2003 to form this dynamic mega group. The artist consists of Paul Wall, Yung Redd, The Grit Boys (Scooby, Poppy, and Unique), Starchy Arch, Gu-U, Big Shasta, Lil Ron, King Tutt, Great Scott and The Grid Iron (Pretty Todd and Calvin Earl). Though several artists have ventured off and signed deals with major labels, all of the artists continue to work together with the same focus and determination as before. The mixtape 713 Click- The New South Movement was one of Houston's biggest underground mixtapes and featured a variety of other artists from T.I to Slim Thug. The streets are still looking to find this mixtape but after the inital order of cd's arrived no more was delivered. This "sold-out" mixtape created a buzz for all artist involved along with starting a movement in the music industry. H-TOWN is UNITED.despite all the spectulation Houston artists have worked together to achieve the goal of becoming the "Down South Hip-Hop Capital." Since the arrival of this "click" Paul Wall (www.myspace.com/paulwall) has put out 2 nationally recognized albums and as appeared on several songs with some of the industry's biggest names. Yung Redd (www.myspace.com/yungredd_swisha_house) has signed with Swisha House and his debut album "Dead Presidents" is soon to come. Grit Boys (www.myspace.com/gritboys ) has signed with TVT records and are currently anticipating their album "Ghetto Reality in Texas" to come out on September 25, 2007. Starchy Arch (www.myspace.com/starchyarchakayungha) is signed to an independent label, playamusic.com, and has appeared on several mixtapes including a number of Cornerstone Mixtapes which is an industry fixture among hip hop execs. Gu- U (www.myspace.com/gu713) has settled in as a road manager and business manager of several artist, among other ventures. King Tutt (www.myspace.com/kickdoeking100) has released his mixtape entitle "Heir To The Throne" and is currently working on other mixtapes. Great Scott (www.myspace.com/great_scott1) has released his mixtape entitle "Man Of Trill" and is currently working on other mixtapes as well. The Grid Iron has produced and engineered for several artists which has made them a "platinum-plack" production team.
