Zak (Guitars) and Russ (Bass) started mixing classic rock sounds with a taste of the new: "POST MODERN CLASSIC ROCK" after trying out many singers Ross was added on vocals. 6 shot 7 was born. After auditioning countless drummers, using fill-ins and playing acoustic shows without drums, Steve Christy was recommended by a friend and has been playing with us ever since and is working out great. The first show with the new line up went over without a hitch and we are currently writing and recording new material. UPDATE!!!! 6 shot 7 has changed it's lineup: Due to acting commitments Ross has left the band, Russ has taken over on lead vocals and rhythm guitar while Jenn from the band Heroin is playing bass guitar. The "NEW" 6 shot 7 played their debut show at The Brass Mug in Tampa on July 11th. and was very well received,,,, New material with the new lineup is in the works and will be posted shortly

MYSPACE MUSIC REVIEW! - 6 SHOT 7

"6 Shot 7"

Somewhere in the wrong part of town there's a club where the bikes parked outside can give you a feeling that the regulars inside wouldn't appreciate the new summer line-up at Banana Republic as much as you do. A place you would normally pass right by if it wasn't for a sound forgotten by modern pop radio.A blend of sounds old and new, 6 Shot 7 bring the rock uncomfortably close and in your face. Blues guitar mixes with Gothlyrics and creates a southern fried- heavy driven "Mug rock." A slow and steady rhythm drives the mood deep and Ross's vocals remind me of the missing link between Jim Morrison and Glen Danzig. These guys are flat out good!!!
