I started playing records back in '89 when i fall in love with rap and electro classics such as Run DMC, Bambataa, Grandmaster Flash and Herbie Hancock.

Since then I keep a little bit of hip-hop and funky-breaks in all my productions and dj sets.

About my productions:

I did an hip-hop album with my crew "Zona Blu" after we won the "Best Italian new act" at the italian mentos hip-hop awards in '97. Then I started doing remixes and studio collaborations with Paolo Scotti(Mò Smog/Riviera Jazz) for Soul Note Records New Yorkputting hands on Nancy Harrow, Sarah Vaughan, Archie Shepp and Sun Ra tapes and I did my first solo album as 5th Suite, called "The deep north's breakbeats". After that and many club gigs around Italy I met the guys from Maffia Club in Reggio Emilia and started a great friendship consolidated with my 2nd album called "Find Pleasure" for their label and many breakbeat productions with Dj Rocca for labels like Functional UK(who also released "Can U freaked" done with Howie B) and Mantra Breaks (Italy). My second album "Find Pleasure" was also co-produced by Will White from the mighty Propellerheads. Me and Will had such a good time on the album that we decided to put togheter our energies in a project called "Pimpwax" for the Bristol-based label "Dead Famous".
