The youngest of three brothers, L.S. lost his older brother in a tragic car accident, and later in 2001, his mother died suddenly of a heart attack. Growing up on the tough streets of the South Bronx, L.S. was expelled from high school for disorderly conduct. He used his love of rap music as a way to express his feelings and stay focused. With JAY-Z, RAKIM, AND COMMON SENSE as his rap influences, L.S began rhyming at the age of 14. People were blown away by his incredible voice, flow, delivery, confidence, and the way he takes command of any beat. At a rap show someone heard L.S. rap and said "damn, man, your lyrics are sick!, hence the name Lyrically Sick. In 1999, L.S. met with the late Grammy nominated BIG PUN. Big Pun had personally invited L.S to his home so he can listen to L.S spit lyrics, along with some of the other terror squad members. Big-pun was amazed and very impressed with his distinctive lyrical technique. Big Pun advised L.S to be diligent and very persistent. he was a lyrical force not to be reckoned with. Bronx rap heavy weights and platinum artists FAT JOE and LORD TARIQ& PETER GUNZ have recorded with L.S., certifying him as one of the Bronx's major up coming talents in rap. "L.S IS NICE! Every time I hear something new from him he always steps his game up, he just keeps getting better & better!" - Fat Joe L.S., who was personally schooled on the hip-hop industry by the legendary D.J. Premier (Gang Star, the Notorious B.I.G. and Jay-Z, etc), writes his Own lyrics and has performed in many shows, including solo performances and show with live bands. In do time L.S. turn will arrive, be ready!'', says D.J. Premiere Super producers Robert "Reef" Tewlow ( 50 Cents Get Rich or Die Trying"), Richard "Younglord" Frierson ( Notorious B.I.G. Puff Daddy ) Sean "C" Cain (Fat Joe, Terror Squad, Big Pun); Riggs Morales ( Shady Records ); Lord Finesse D.I.T.C. (Digging In The Crates); Domingo; and most recently Blacksmith who produced Get it Girl which is currently in rotation at strip clubs in NY. These producers have contributed to L.Ss incredible demo which is currently being sent too many record labels. L.S has met with CEO Paul Rosenberg from Shady Records, and SRC's CEO Steven Rifkind who has shown interest in L.S music. L.S is currently on www.blacksmithbeats.com and Urban Magazine's September 2005 issue. L.S is a skilled lyricist with a ridiculously infectious flow. His songs are filled with dense tales of live on the streets of the Bronx. He is easily one of the tightest to step foot into a recording booth. L.S is a double threat as he is able to drop challenging lyrical content in both English and Spanish. His demo displays his range and versatility. It includes everything from tales of ghetto angst to an undeniable on point flow over various beats. There is no doubt L.S is one of the most diverse and talented up and coming artist.
