From the long lost days when pioneering Sounds like Trojan and Sir Coxsone excited the dancehall scene. When there were live DJ performances and artists would come perform live on a sound system the only idea of a female controlling anything was a female handling a microphone to belt out a hit tune.

Fifty some odd years later a new generation has come to surpass a new idea. Where the idea of not only a woman controlling a sound system but owning and managing and engineering a sound system has taken the place of the side line dancehall queen. 360 has taken the spotlight off of the dance floor and has set it straight full powered to behind the sound.

360- a continuous vibe of a collaboration of dancehall's most talented women

Lady Treasure was raised in Flatbush Brooklyn, New York City. Capturing the inherited traits of a natural selector is her claim to her father's early sound system days, dancehall and sound systems are both in her blood. She cherishes her days of seeing top-notch veteran sounds like King Addies, Black Kat and Bass Odyssey clash in legendary NY war arena Biltmore Ballroom to add to her lessons in sound history. Key points in a history lesson that many selectors may have missed. Playing on sound systems like Syndicate and 12 Gage, Treasure the “War Angel” is a natural in front of a crowd. Never has she seen there to be a problem to work alongside the bigger and better of the sound system fraternity. Treasure is also noted to host some of the major clash dances in New York.

Sawney aka Sawney Killer; raises the idea of women behind the sound. Her 5 foot 4 inch frame sometimes requires a crate or box to boost her to the tables. But when she turns the fire on with her exclusive remixes and unobtainable DJ specials 360 becomes fully immortalized and occasionally seemingly untouchable to be followed up by even sounds like Stone Love, Bodyguard and Fire Links.

Sawney’s speed in mixing is fascinating to watch and pleasant music to the ears.

360 has no problem to juggle with the bigger and older sound systems and receive support from all areas of the industry including to be the spokeswomen for designers from BASHY USA and Akini Designs and Marcella's Creations. They have been featured on tour with Vybz Kartel, Macka Diamond, Spragga Benz, Ghost, Wayne Wonder, Bounty Killer, Mr. Vegas, Ward 21, Elephant Man and many more. They have also serviced the crowds at the Ms. Islander USA, MS. Caribbean USA, and the Independent Music Conference as well as press and media launch for the FM Awards and many major reggae industry events.

Each individual also is employed in other areas of the music industry working as executives in the day and selectors by night. Revitalizing the interest in the dancehall when it appears to be at a low and dried up from clash dances and mediocre lineups of basic consistent sounds. All of this boredom leaves the people to be calling for something new, yet exciting and a reason to return to the dance. After touring to the East Coast as well as Ohio, Texas, Atlanta, Jamaica, Guyana, Bahamas, Japan and beyond 360 listens and responds to the people' s wishes with entertainment and excitement. The spring and summer of 2002 lead 360 to complete their Caribbean Tour with the Mighty Crown “Far East Rulers”. They became the trendsetters for female sounds when they broke the ground to be the first female selectors to work at Fully Loaded or any Loaded event for that matter. The last leg of their tour came to a close in Jamaica where they overwhelmed a crowd of thousands at Fort Clarence Beach as well as the legendary Assylum.

360 Ladies blessed the airwaves as hostesses of “The Ladies Night” program on Waahgwan Radio NYC’s caribbean station.

Listeners tuned in from all over the world to check them out each and every Friday night airing from the melting pot of the US.

They continue to hold true to the words "PAVING THE WAY" by continuously breaking grounds for other female sounds to follow after being the first female sound to play Fully Loaded and many other high profile events in Jamaica and all around the world.

They are the answers to their calls that really have not changed much. When every other sound system can play all the same specials only on different rhythms the 360 version being played by hot Dj’s in heels is sure to be a little bit different. And that difference is what puts these women ahead.
