2 Wurds

With a sound that mainly consists of percussive rhythm guitar

infused with ambient lead guitar harmonies, 2wurds has created

a style that pulls loosely at rock, alternative, funk and blues.

The style has evolved but remains anchored in its roots,

taking full advantage of stylistic flexibility to swoon

an intimate acoustic crowd; or aggressively attack a larger venue

with a fuller, in your face sound.



Founded in 2002, Two Words hosted a weekly local music showcase for

four years in downtown Minneapolis’ warehouse district. They went on to

play The Basillica Block Party, Opened for the Plain White T’s & G Love and Special Sauce and made appearances on WCCO and Kare11.



Two Words are currently in the studio recording their Debut album to be released summer 2010.



Two Words consists of five members:

Nathan Santos on lead vocals and rhythm guitar,

Dennis Kamp on lead guitar,

Nate “Clearance” Cole on the bass,

and Chris Zator on Drums.
