Alvaro Rene Dicristofaro (born July 15, 1983) better known by his stage name 2weex, is an American rapper, born and raised in Los Angeles, California, At the age of six, both 2weex and his mother, Juana Acevedo, moved to Baldwin Hills, an area located north of Inglewood. 2weex then attended many public schools, in which he discovered his love for music. During high school he developed a strong passion for it, and started writing his own songs. After graduating, class of 2001, he decided to pursue a career in music. Through out the years he joined many music groups and worked with several artists to develop his sound. 2weex then realized that he was not only growing as an artist, but as a person. The more songs that he would write, the more personal and touching they became. As you listen to his music, you will find out, although his upbringing could've lead to worse, his music speaks for itself in a positive manner. Going over topics such as: poverty, broken homes, racism, and change. Even with that said, his music still reflects the understanding and need for the occasional light-hearted mainstream record. 2weex decided to invest in himself and his career by building a recording studio. The studio drew in many artists in which 2weex had the privilege to work with. He has accomplished such feats as performances at The Million Dollar Theatre, Calle Ocho, B.B. King's, The Viper Room, The Key Club and many popular dance clubs and lounges throughout the greater Los Angeles area. 2weex is capable of standing on his own two feet, as shown by example through his first compilation, "From Scratch" which was recorded and self-financed in 2005 but never released to the general public 'nor mass-produced. None the less, he has continued to strive and work with many engineers and producers such as: David Williams "Melrose Music", Professional Music Group "PMG", and Twirp "The Monsta". As far as collaborations with musical artists, 2weex has worked with Solo Rythem ( aka J. So of The Minorities Report ) "ICR Hollywood" who's toured Europe a handful of times and is well known for his R&B/Soul style, Tragic "M-PYRE Music" who's toured Tahiti and many South American countries, Fresh Ave who was a rising star throughout the underground and mainstream scene but tragically passed in 2010, and last but not least, Kevontay Jackson ( aka K Jackson of The Minorities Report ) a former band member of the R&B group "3rd Storee" who has recently jumped back into the music scene after much success as an actor on many popular television shows. 2weex joined forces with J. So and K Jackson in 2008 to form The Minorities Report.
