Refreshing hip hop with a twist of fun!

2up are an Australian hip hop outfit that's guaranteed to get a party started quicker than a 6 pack of west coast coolers! Combining Breaker & Maccy's witty often humorous lyrics with head nodding beats and fr-fr-freshhh scratches, 2up create a style of hip hop a long way removed from the 'bling, bling! where my bitches at?' rap we're subjected to on TV and radio.



With subject matter covering everything from girls, popular culture, sports, homeboys, R.S.L clubs, hip hop itself of course, self promotion and back to girls there's a little sum'n sum'n for everyone.



2up have released 3 cds - an EP 'Tastes Like Chicken' in 2001, a full length album 'Player's Club' in 2004 both of which received radio support from Triple J and a stack of community stations nation wide, and more recently 'The BOOMIN EP' in 2007.



2up played at The Falls Festival in both 2005 and 2006 and have supported overseas acts Ugly Duckling and The Pharcyde, locals Butterfingers, Gerling, Koolism and even Amiel as well as head lining their own shows around the country.



2up are currently working on their 2nd full length album titled 'I Don't Like Hip Hop, But.' which they're taking their sweet fricken time with but they guarantee it'll be well worth the wait!
