"A BREATH OF FRESH AIR"

It's been a long hike up the ladder of success for RaSho (pronounced rah-show), and now he has officially arrived from the trenches with the recent success of his debut effort titled, "Product Of My Surroundings" and his hit singles, "I.C.U.", "What You Gonna Do?" and "If Your Heart" featuring Crystal Cox; which have gained him local buzz and national attention.

This poetic emcee's sound is often described as a "breath of fresh air", and that it is as he blows right onto the industry's doorstep with his mastered quality and "certified fresh" lyrical content which is complimented by his poised demeanor and unique sense of style.

RaSho's sound comes from many angles like a surround system and his list of

influences include 2 Pac, DJ Quick, Common, Mc Breed, Jay-Z, Nas, LL Cool J

and Lupe Fiasco. He has opened shows for headliners such as Ja Rule, Lil' Flip,

Cash Money's BG and Turk, Bizzy Bone, Double R and Ice Mone. He was also a featured guest on the rap group Trilogy's 2007 promotional tour.

Ray "RaSho" Cunningham's first opening act began on March 28th, over 2

decades ago in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and while growing up on the city's rough

north-side, he developed special interests in writing, poetry, drawing and

expressing himself artistically.

While growing up, RaSho's mother worked hard to shape his life in a positive

manner by keeping him away from the troubles and temptations of the

neighborhood that they lived in. She didn't ban him from listening to hip-hop

but she did restrict him from listening to hardcore gangster rap that she felt

would create the same negative imagery that she wanted to diverted him from.

RaSho's curiosity about music managed him to keep his ear up against the wall; listening to all forms of hip-hop and eventually he developed a personal interest for the art-form. During this period, he also found his own sense of style, delivery and determination to become a household name.

When he was only in junior high, he made his first attempt to take the rap game by storm when he recorded a song titled "Get Bizzy" while sampling Da' Brat's debut single, "Funkdafied". The song became a local teen-aged dance anthem.

Be on the lookout for his forthcoming sophomore (to be announced) release and "Product Of My Surroundings", is currently available on iTunes.
