Born in Tacoma, Washington, 187 Blitz grew up listening to Sugar Hill Gang, Melly Mel, Run D.M.C, and a host of other hip-hop artist. It was during this time that 187 Blitz began exploring his skills as an MC.



Raised in a military family, 187 Blitz eventually landed in Nashville in 1993. It was in Nashville where Blitz met up with Kyhil through local battles where they eventually teamed up to form the group Hillside Clique. They released the single €œWorld Wide€?, which landed the number one spot on Middle Tennessee States radio station WMTS 88.3.



In 1996 Tyrone McClain of T-Mac Productions was so impressed with Blitz that he gave him the host spot for the T.V. show Da Underground. The show featured special guest such as Scarface, Lil Wayne, Pastor Troy, and Reakwon. The show aired on Fox 7 and The UPN Network. Blitz co-starred in the independent film €œRest in Peace Cuervo Jones€? along with fellow label mates Kyhil and Eloheem.



187 Blitz is featured on Kyhil€™s independent solo release €œRap, Rhythm, and Blues€?. 187 Blitz has also appeared on a variety of mix-tapes dating back to the early Nineties.
